By the time Maria Elita was 30 she had it all!
No doubt she was the ‘Queen of the Law of Attraction’ as by this time she was living the dream, in a million dollar home, with the corporate man she adored, three children in private schools, driving luxury cars, regularly visiting her holiday home on a Whitsunday Island, working for corporate Australia as a marketing and public relations manager, and living the life that dreams are made of.
However one day Maria Elita’s dream world began to fall apart and through the breakdown of her fairytale marriage, she is pushed to the brink of Endarkment. Whilst suffering a nervous break down and enduring the darkness of severe depression, Maria Elita one day decides to end her life. Divinely in the midst of this suicidal experience she is met with an unexpected and amazing encounter, and the Miracle of Life is revealed to her. From this day on she sets out on a quest to discover what true happiness is.

“I think, if I jump off the bridge right here, I’d end up dead, on the dead-end road. Perfect! There would be no chance that I’d live. I do not want to end up paralysed from a botched attempt. I absolutely do not want to survive and end up living a crippled life of pity.
I sit fighting with my demons in the car near the park under the bridge, ready to end my misery. There are wild screams into the emptiness that represent the dark oblivion which consumes me.
My torment continues to intensify as each passing moment brings with it a new level of emotional and physical pain. Then in one almighty culmination of lunacy, the timeless moment peaks with a climatic rush. Without inviting it, orconsciously tempting it, something unparallel to any experience I’ve had before, happens to me in the car. My wild, untamed thoughts which feel like a crazed psychotic animal in a cage are in one miraculous moment freed. My mind has passed a point of insanity, control and fear that literally feels mind-blowing.
…..The boundless energetic forces continue to evolve within and around me as I begin to cry from an ancient place inside me that always known this Miracle Truth. All along, this wisdom has been patiently and lovingly waiting for me to remember and feel it.

I have seen you last Tuesday 23/4 on Channel 10 on the morning show DAVID AND KIM. I have seen the book in David's hands and I immediately contacted Dymocks , main store in Sydney. Two hours later I got the book. The next morning, I have finished it. I cannot describe the effect it had on me. Although, our circumstances are very different, I definitely found myself in your story. Being limited by the restricting belief what happiness means, what according to a specific belief, I supposed to be happy without realizing how miserable I was in my marriage, and how the commitment was only on my side, was shocking to me. I could relate to every emotion you described in your book. The struggle between being who you are and who you meant to be and the unrealistic being stuck in an imaginative unrealistic fairy tale, we make up for ourselves and play it for the other people around. I started reading it the second time and almost finished. I like reading it. It make me feel connected to my spirit and who I really am. Your talking about surrender is amazing. The most toughing sentence for me was in p. 122 :
"We all want to have the feeling of success, yet the truth is that when we "fail", like most of us do, then we ultimately have the greatest opportunity to embrace a success beyond limitations; it is the success of surrender." This says it all in a nutshell.
